Be a Part of Your Community. Come Volunteer with Oak Bay Volunteer Services! We provide one-to-one services to the residents of Oak Bay. Serving the young to the young at heart, we provide a variety of free services to help maintain our clients’ connections to community and assist with a variety of everyday activities to help maintain an individual’s independence. Our services incorporate elements of: Transportation assistance - driving clients to important medical appointments, to pick up groceries and other important errands; Companionship - visits in a clients home or walks around the community; Home maintenance - minor home repair, gardening, computer support, etc.; Income tax return assistance - assisting low income clients prepare their tax returns
