| Description |
Reporting to the CEO, the Lead Communications Group is responsible for oversight of ICO's Social Media messaging, ICO World Journal publications, and the timely posting of Initiative updates on our website. Tasks and responsibilities; 1. Develop relevant content and branding for posting to social media accounts. 2. Deliver an ICO World newsletter on a semi-annual basis, to share information to a broader audience. 3. Work closely with Initiative Leads to develop informative, high quality content regarding initiative activities and other information of interest to donors. 4. Contribute to the development of a Marketing Strategy and Brand Development. 5. Advises and collaborates with ICO's Leadership Group and Board of Trustees. |
| Training Details |
Training provided by CEO and Leadership Group. Valuable skills include: Strong leadership skills including the ability to advise and support a diverse group of professionals. Experience working in a volunteer organization. Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Competence in facilitating discussion and creating a shared understanding of goals. |
| Working Conditions | Remote work with regular interaction with operations volunteers. Attendance at monthly virtual Leadership meetings and responsiveness to volunteer needs for assistance. |
