Description | The Kitchen Service Volunteer plays a vital role in the daily functioning of the Downtown Community Centre, maintaining a positive and inviting drop-in environment for clients. Responsibilities include distributing essential items like food, socks, hygiene kits, naloxone kits, dental supplies, and menstrual supplies. Additionally, tasks involve cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes, stocking and maintaining the coffee bar, assembling harm reduction packs, and connecting with clients. Shifts are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-3 pm. |
