Description
The Tennis Program Assistant supports instructors in delivering fun tennis programs that help participants develop new skills. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and youth, are patient with new learners, and have a love for tennis. Qualifications: 16 years old or older; friendly, outgoing, and patient; prior experience in tennis; proficient in spoken English; able to lift up to 30lbs. Tennis Canada Instructor Certification an asset. Applicants must be willing to complete a Police Information Check.
Training Details
This position requires completion of a Child Protection Training module (online, 30 minutes). Volunteers will receive on onsite orientation and program introduction, and will be directed by staff instructors.
Working Conditions
Indoors. Standing, moving, and playing throughout session. Lifting up to 30lbs may be required. Supervised by Saanich staff.
