The purposes of this society then, are as follows: To encourage and develop an awareness of the importance of local agriculture, art & crafts. To encourage education about the environment, healthy living and organic farming. To provide a local direct sales outlet for locally produced goods including handcrafted items and home prepared goods. To provide an atmosphere that encourages community interaction and participation. To increase awareness of the benefits of neighborhood markets. |
| Description | Assist our manager and setup person with the layout and set up of the market including market tents, chairs, tables, signboards, various market equipment and offer some assistance our vendors. (No packing or unpacking of vendors’ products is required.) We are flexible on number of dates you can commit to. Must have some physicals strength No lifting over 30 lbs. |
