SVSS has provided one-to-one, direct volunteer services to Saanich residents over the age of 19 years for over 30 years. Description |
SVSS Board of Directors is a governance board. The Treasurer: • Prepares the annual operating budget, with input from the Executive Director. • Oversees the Society’s budget, financial controls, financial management and performance. • Submits and presents monthly reports to the board. • Coordinates the preparation of annual financial statements with the Society accountant. • Presents annual financial statements and a summary statement to all Society members at the AGM. • Reviews and ensures all documents as required by law to be filed by deadlines, i.e. Registered Charity Information Return, GST Rebate, and gaming reports. |
Training Details | Onboarding to be provided by outgoing treasurer, executive director and board of directors. |
Working Conditions | Work remotely with occasional work at SVSS office if required. |
