About the Position
Position #: 1613
OrganizationVictoria Lesbian Seniors Care Society
Position: Coffee Talk Coordinator
Description: Coffee Talk is a social group that meets twice a month (Sundays at 2pm) at Romeo's Restaurant on Blanshard Street. It is for two hours usually. The coordinator of this group needs to make sure that a table for anywhere between four and twelve ladies is booked for the days in question. The coordinator is given the list of women who are interested on staying on a BCC group email list, and an email is sent out mid-week before the next Coffee Talk is set to meet. This email is beneficial because not only does it give dates for the next social, it is a good opportunity to give updates on what it is the VLSCS does. The Coffee Talk season consists of September to the following June, with an organized Christmas Coffee Talk Brunch in early December, at JJ Morgan's Restaurant on Sunday.
