Position: Newsletter Editor
Impact Statement: The Victoria Lesbian Seniors Care Society supports the health and social needs of women-identified and lesbian-identified individuals and couples on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This includes women of all ages. We provide safe, accessible and welcoming spaces, and we build community through public education and social action. The VLSCS became an official entity in 1994.

We commit ourselves to building a greater involvement in the wider community, including students within the universities and colleges, professionals within health care, as well as all members of the LGBTQ international community and allies.
Description: The editor of the VLSCS newsletter will gather and edit items of interest on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual basis, as is agreed upon by the board of directors. Content ranges anywhere from covering events and concerns from the wider LGBTQ community as well as board-approved items from inside the VLSCS. Photos, provided the people in the photos give their permission to have them disseminated, can be included, as well as picart. Advertisements for movies, events, Coffee Talk are often content as well as donated recipes and horoscopes.
Training Details: Communication with the board of directors.
Working Conditions: Remote.
