Position: DigiLab Volunteer
Impact Statement: To inspire literacy, lifelong learning and community enrichment for all. To provide universal access to secure and safe library services, to foster the love of reading, and to enhance the quality of life in our community.
Description: Develop leadership skills, earn volunteer hours and use your creativity and tech skills to help other teens use the new mobile DigiLab. Help lead a DigiLab program and inspire other teens to learn and create using tech tools and craft supplies. View the DigiLab programs on our calendar to see what’s coming up.

Become a DigiLab Volunteer (repeat volunteers can skip to Step 3)

Step 1: Complete the Teen Volunteer Referral Form

Step 2: Register for a DigiLab Training Session

Step 3: Register as a volunteer for a DigiLab session
Training Details: First-time volunteers, please complete a Teen Volunteer Referral Form and register for a DigiLab Training Session. See gvpl.ca/teenvolunteers for dates, times and for more information.
Working Conditions: Volunteers must be between the ages of 13 and 18.
Minimum Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekend - Daytime, Anytime
Time Detail: 1-2 hours per meeting, meetings held every other week.
Age: 13+
Ideal for: An Individual
Transportation: On a bus route
