Position: Assistant: All Things Marine Thrift Store
Location: Unit 14, 2300 canoe cove road
Description: The Maritime Museum of BC is currently seeking Assistant Volunteers to help us with our operations at All Things Marine Thrift Store. The store sells donated used marine items year-round as a fundraiser for the Maritime Museum of BC. All Things Marine Thrift Store is located in the corner of Canoe Cove Marina, an idyllic 1930s wood cottage, amongst the Douglas furs and overlooking the marina. The Thrift Store is entirely operated by Museum volunteers.

This is a service-oriented position that would be suited to those with an interest/experience/love of boating. Duties include welcoming visitors, pricing items, accepting donations, item repairs, and assisting customers.

The store is open Friday and Saturdays, between 10 AM - 4PM. A supervisor is on-site and provides training.
Training Details: Training to be provided by supervisor.
Working Conditions: All Things Marine Thrift Store is set in a cottage, with stairs leading up to the second floor.
Minimum Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime
Time Detail: Friday or Saturday: 10AM - 4PM.

Hours may be flexible, depending on scheduling.
