Position: Volunteer Coordinator - Woodwynn Farms Creating Homefulness Program
Impact Statement: Woodwynn Farms is atherapeutic community for the homeless witha unique and compassionate approach to helping people in need. Participants and volunteers live and work together on the farm, each day beginning with yoga along with mindfulness practices woven throughout the day. Meals are enjoyed together, consisting of nutritious, organic farm-grown food.Thisbrings people back to health physically, spiritually, and mentally, so they can flourish and contribute to their communities. Weoperateby the motto believe in people until their ready to believe in themselves.
Description: We are currently accepting applications for the volunteer position of Volunteer
Coordinator. Yes, that is correct, we need a volunteer to coordinate our volunteers!

The key responsibilities of this position include:

Representing Woodwynn Farms to potential volunteers and in the community
Demonstrating a high level of program knowledge through your own
volunteer hours at Woodwynn
Maintaining volunteer databases
Providing and coordinating the provision of volunteer training
Ensuring volunteer paperwork is complete, including contact information, confidentiality agreements and criminal record checks
Coordinating volunteer events and work parties
You will also have the opportunity to participate in morning meetings
alongside staff, volunteers and participants.

Training Details: Training provided on site by participants and staff.
Working Conditions: The ideal candidate will work alongside participants and staff in different areas of the farm so that they gain a deep understanding of the program. You may be in the office, at your home office, at the Market, or working in the garden, greenhouse or on various projects around the farm. You must be comfortable being outside in all weather conditions. Very flexible, lots of different opportunities.
Minimum Duration: 4 - 6 months
Timing: Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime, Anytime
Time Detail: Hours are flexible and may include work from home hours. Some hours are to be spent at the farm (Weekdays or weekends during the day).
Age: 19+
