World Fisheries Trust
World Fisheries Trust (WFT) is a registered Canadian charity that began in 1995. Internationally, we work with small scale fisheries in Latin America to develop community based aquaculture management and improving food security for vulnerable populations. Locally, in the Greater Victoria Area, we work through our Coastal Collaborative Sciences and Seaquaria Ocean Education Divisions to conduct aquatic research, restoration, stewardship and training of early career scientists and deliver hands-on environmental education programs in classrooms and in the field.
