James Bay New Horizons Society
As a Senior's Activity Centre we:
a. operate a centre in the James Bay area.
b. organize activities in the fields of recreation, area beautification, area history, nutrition (food selection and preparation), travel, arts and crafts, social and community relations, culture and education, and advocacy for the needs of members.
c. raise the necessary funds to accomplish the purposes of the Society.
We provide accessible programs, services and volunteer opportunities to our members and to local residents in general. It is our goal to help people maintain, improve and develop new skills, interests and social opportunities, and to enhance the quality of life of our members and visitors.
