Summary: The Soup Kitchen is a program of the 9-10 Club Serving Soup to the Hungry Society. The Society is a registered non-profit, non-denominational charity. Meal services started on Friday, November 12, 1982. It is the oldest, completely volunteer-run food resource for the hungry in Victoria. Mission: The 9-10 Club Soup Kitchen exists as a food security source to the Victoria community. Access to this food is provided to all those coming through our door with dignity, respect and without judgement or cost.
Size of Organization: The Soup Kitchen is completely volunteer run with 8 members on the board of directors and 100+ volunteers.
