ElderDog Canada is a national, registered charitable organization, fully funded through donations and completely operated by volunteers. We recognize the importance of the human-animal bond and we focus on supporting seniors and their canine companions. Our goals are to: • Assist and support older adults in the care and well-being of their canine companions through services such as dog walking, transport to vet, groomer appointments, etc.; • Promote the welfare of older dogs whose lives have been disrupted due to illness, relocation or death of a human companion by providing temporary foster care and/or rehoming for dogs whose seniors are unable to care for them.
