Impact Statement Our mission is to empower children and youth, and create safe, responsive communities by reducing bullying and discrimination. We work with schools and teachers to deliver literature-based programs in classrooms, and we provide information to parents and community leaders such as police officers to reinforce our strategies outside the classroom.
Description Do you love to make an impact with kids? Have you ever wanted to be a mascot? Our mascot is Witsup the Walrus, making appearances at community events, especially in Esquimalt but in many other locations too. we're looking for a few outgoing people to share the Witsup responsibilities and also to escort our mascot about town. Or out of town too, we don't discriminate. Claustrophobics need not apply!
Training Details Full position and task descriptions, orientation and training are provided.
