Position History Buff - A lesson in our world's history
Impact Statement By serving our elders, you are enhancing the quality of their lives.
Description We need someone who loves history and loves to read out loud. Two times a month, we have a history program where a resident and a guest speaker read out the 'history lesson'. This entails about 1 1/2 to 2 hours of your time twice a month, currently on a Monday morning.
COVID-19 Vaccination Required Yes
Training Details none required
Working Conditions Able to Communicate clearly and speak loudly (able to project your voice). Reading to a group of elders then leading a discussion about what was just read.
Minimum Duration 3 months or less
Timing Weekday - Daytime
Time Detail 1 hour twice a month, usually starts at 10:30am and goes until 1130am
Age 12+
