Volunteers will contribute to the growing of native endangered Garry oak seedlings for planting to enhance local communities and restoration/conservation projects.
Description
To assist with plant nursery duties such as weeding & repotting as well as sorting, testing & planting acorns.

Training Details
Volunteer work party at nursery will train volunteers (usually at the volunteer's first event) or a GOMPS Director will train individuals at a time mutually convenient.
Working Conditions
At an outdoor nursery with some shade & seating available. Currently there is a private outdoor toilet (porta potty). Tools, gloves, aprons, water, juice and snacks are available on site.

Time Detail
Every Sunday from 10am - 1pm. Volunteers do not need to submit paperwork in advance of volunteering.
