Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program volunteers go into the community to present emergency preparedness workshops. This is a great opportunity for those who want to practice public speaking while helping households and neighbourhoods become better prepared in the event of a disaster. Training, scripts and support are provided to all presenters. We have a strong group of dedicated volunteers that provide a valuable service to Saanich residents.
Training Details
Training, scripts and support are provided. Most presentations are given by two presenters, which enables new presenters to take on on small parts of the presentation until their comfort level increases.
