| Description |
One of the ways that we help connect people to community is through our food security programs. Some of the essential services that we provide include: Community Kitchen Programs, Family Dinners, Child Care and Parenting Programs. We provide several opportunities for providing healthy food options to families within our community. We need volunteers to help us carry out some of these programs. Our capable and talented staff work hard to bring healthy and diverse food to our community on a budget. Their time is valuable and we would love to have a volunteer step in to support them as they do this. Our volunteers are essential in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, serving food and cleanup. |
| Training Details | On the job training will occur with our knowledgeable, dynamic and incredible food security team! |
| Working Conditions | Work will primarily be done out of the main kitchen in Pearkes location. |
