Description |
We are looking for a female with a calm demeanor and a silly side who is interested in building a friendship with a young woman with a developmental disability in her early 20s. Through Lifetime Networks, we are building a small circle of supportive friends who are committed to hanging out with her once or twice a month. We hope to find a friend that can spend time with her monthly on Saturdays. In the future, she would like to have quiet visits after dinner during the weekdays too. The visits would begin at her group home in the Royal Oak area and could extend into the community. She is quiet and has a great sense of humour. When you spend time with her, you might wish to talk about cats, traveling, or little details about each other's days. She loves to have tea with people and enjoys going for picnics. She is interested in art activities, nail painting, fashion, yoga, music, Paris and flowers. |
