The purpose of the Burnside Gorge Community Association is to lead, promote and support prevention and intervention based initiatives which encourage healthy, inclusive, and socially just living. | Description | Come volunteer at Burnside Boutique! Volunteers are needed to help receive, sort, and price donations. From washing and steaming to creating beautiful display windows, volunteers will be performing a wide variety of duties; working the cash register, stocking store products and handling guest questions or concerns. An interest or experience in thrift stores would compliment our store beautifly as we are open to all ideas and creativity, however no experience necessary. |
| Training Details | Training and orientation will be provided by one of the store managers or one of our senior volunteers once the volunteer application process is complete. |
| Working Conditions | Volunteers will be working in a newly renovated, open-concept floor plan, with big windows letting in tons of natural light. The space is also well ventilated, Volunteers will be required to lift 30 pounds by themselves and 50 pounds with help. |
