Description | Facilitate the Book Club discussion, and supply to the participants with information about the book that will be discuss. Accept new referrals and/or contact them to encourage attendance. Ensure the Book Club has a comfortable and safe meeting. Brief, De-brief and connect with your co-facilitator on a weekly basis. Keep track of the Book club attendance and submit the report at the end of the month. Consult with the Volunteer Recruitment & Retention Coordinator, Provincial Education & Support Program Coordinator, or Staff when necessary. Attend monthly Steering committee and Facilitator Support Meetings, where they exist. Participate in ongoing PSS trainings and workshops, when possible; and Provide the community with information about PSS |
Training Details | Training online: Self-paced 15 hrs. (1 months to finish) and 3 Live Zoom sessions on March 23, 25 & 30, 2024. Free for those who are able to commit two cycles of 8 weeks. |
