We will be removing invasive Himalayan Blackberry & Scotch broom from this beautiful park! We will be meeting nearest the address 134 Thetis Vale Crescent right by the corner of Thetis Vale Crescent and Lund Road. FLOW OF THE ACTIVITY • Meet at 9:45am for sign-in & introductions (please be on time) • If you can't find us, please call 778-677-9078 • Receive instruction & demo for the activity • Remove invasive plants • Take break for refreshments half way through • Volunteer until 1:00 pm then sign-out at end, take home an eco-gift! | Training Details | We will provide all training and tools. No previous experience necessary! |
| Working Conditions | We will be working outdoors, rain or shine. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend long pants/sleeves to protect from thorny plants & insects. Remember to check the weather - bring a hat/sunscreen/rain jacket as needed. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated (we will have extra water and snacks on site too!) |
