SVSS has provided one-to-one, direct volunteer services to Saanich residents over the age of 19 years for over 30 years. | Description |
Board Members: - attend regular monthly board meetings and the AGM - determine & uphold the Society's mission, values and goals - conduct & evaluate outcomes of the Society's strategic plan - provide financial oversight, including development & approval of annual budget - identify & actively support annual fundraising initiatives - be familiar with the society's policies & procedures - knowledge/experience in accounting, fundraising, event planning, or a notary/legal background an asset but not necessary. |
