Victoria Festival of Authors is Vancouver Island’s largest, and liveliest, celebration of books and book lovers. For eight years, VFA has hosted authors from across Canada for a celebration of reading and writing. Our ninth annual festival, from October 16-20, 2024, will be much the same. Our festival will be a hybrid, offering in-person programming of regional authors, most offered by livestream for those viewing from home, as well as virtual programming of authors from around Canada. With a focus on accessibility, including free programming, the board treasurer is a valued and important member of the team! |

| Training Details | The current board treasurer is remaining with the organization until the next AGM and can train the incoming treasurer. |
| Working Conditions | We have no physical office so work would be from home, primarily through email. |

| Time Detail | Victoria Festival of Authors is a small organization, with minimal assistance required in the off-season, and more work required in October around the festival. There are bi-monthly 1-hour board meetings. |
