Impact Statement Promotes awareness, acceptance and understanding of the issues and problems facing people with disabilities. Activities include public advocacy and individual advocacy.

Description ACPD’s advocacy program will allow you to:
• Assisting clients in completing written and online application forms.
• Referring clients as to resources in the community available to them, referring them to other organizations as appropriate.

Advocates must be able to commit to volunteering at least 2 shifts per week.
Training Details Orientation to position, supervision and on-going training provided by ACPD.
Working Conditions Flexible office setting. Accessible office.
Minimum Duration 7 - 12 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime
Time Detail Monday to Friday flexible shifts.
Age 19+
