Impact Statement There are several opportunities to become involved with the museum as a volunteer, supporting one of the many activities that are available. You can bring your skills to the museum, or receive training in a new environment. Each position receives support, guidance and training where required. Description Work around the aircraft and exhibits, Assist with creating new displays. Help keep the aircraft clean, and everything in order.

Training Details Volunteer alongside experienced volunteers
Working Conditions The British Columbia Aviation Museum is currently open six days a week (closed Wednesdays), from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (summer), 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (winter). All the work is inside heated hangars, and each department has a Team Lead available for advice and direction. Volunteering at BCAM is designed to be a learning experience.
Minimum Duration More than 1 year
Timing Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime
Time Detail One day a week. Up to six hours in summer and four hours in winter.
