This is a social assistance, post-release adjustment program. The program is designed to assist offenders in cultivating a sense of self-worth and self-acceptance. By socializing with people outside of Corrections, a belief can slowly be fostered in the individual that they can become a productive and valued member of the community. Social interactions with the volunteers allow these men to become familiar with the pro-social rules of society today. Your main goal would be to offer conversation, modeling, and helpful thinking patterns on finding their footing whilst re-entering the community. We require a six-month commitment to this volunteer program and attending orientation and training workshops.
