Description |
We are searching for outgoing volunteer educators to assist with the delivery of aquatic education programs and community outreach. Volunteers will gain valuable experience and workplace skills in education, environmental NGOs, and marine biology. We always strive to connect volunteers with interesting opportunities and various community initiatives. The Environmental Educator will: provide hands-on and inquiry based learning for students and the general public of all ages at educational programs and outreach events; educate youth and the general public on biodiversity in our ocean and aquatic ecosystems and the role these animals (and humans) have. If you have creative skills such as art, graphic design, or videography we are always looking for volunteers with these skills to develop educational content! |
Training Details | While no experience is necessary, prior knowledge of marine organism diversity, ecosystem functions, and experience with children are an asset! Training will be provided. |
