Social Concern Office Volunteers support a diverse group of functions within our downtown food bank and in house programs. This is rewarding work which allows one to help on a personal level.
Description
Volunteers work together with support staff to attend to the day-to-day operations, ensuring our clients receive a high level of service and care. We are seeking volunteers for numerous shifts between 800 am and 345 pm throughout the Monday-Friday schedule. Training is provided on various functions including greeting, front desk, food gleaning, shopping, clean up and program support. A vulnerable sector criminal record check is required. No religious affiliation is necessary, just a desire to help those in need.
