The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria’s Gallery Shop is a great place to volunteer. You meet visitors and Victoria residents and get to engage in conversations about new artists work in the Shop, what exhibitions are on in the Gallery, and where to go for a coffee locally. The Gallery Enterprises Team is seeking volunteers to be based in the Gallery Shop. This is an important role in raising revenue to support the Art Gallery and enhance the visitor’s experience. We are looking for volunteers that are passionate about the arts and are committed to customer service. The position involves a weekly commitment of a 3.5 hours shift, excluding holidays. As this position requires a broad understanding of the Gallery Shop’s wide variety of artists and products, as well as an understanding of the AGGV, we are asking for a year’s commitment. |
Training Details | Schedule training with the retail coordinator, two two-hour long training shifts. |
