Description: Network Friend (Volunteer Role)
Lifetime Networks – Victoria, BC

Lifetime Networks is a non-profit organization that creates opportunities for people with disabilities for friendship and support so that they can live rewarding lives in the community.

We are seeking a Network Friend for a man in his mid-fifties living with MS. He is a laid-back individual whose professional music career was ended due to MS, after he received his Bachelor of Music degree from Wilfred Laurier. He has limited mobility and is able to use a manual wheelchair. He is hoping to find another laid-back “cool” musician who can discuss their appreciation of music, and listen to classical music as they visit. If transportation was available, he would enjoy attending concerts with this friend. The MS does affect his energy level but he is astute and is able to carry on an intellectual discussion. We are hoping the friend would be able to visit this gentleman for a couple of times each month.
