Description We are looking for a volunteer who is interested in building a friendship with a man located in Swan Lake. This individual struggles with social anxiety and mental health barriers which can make it difficult for him to build connection. When you get to know him you notice how kind and smart he is. He has a passion for drawing, music and photography. He also enjoys conversation, playing tennis and going for walks around Swan Lake. A great friend for him would be someone who is empathetic and patient, and willing to respect his boundaries but also work with him to overcome his own barriers - get him out of his comfort zone! It may take time to get to know him on a personal level, but you will notice that he has many interesting thoughts and idea’s inside of him. Building connection and lasting friendships is important to him, he looks forward to the next step.
