Your help will make it possible for refugees to find a safe home in Canada.
Description: The Anglican Diocese is one of two Sponsorship Agreement Holders in Victoria that are able to help private citizens to sponsor refugees.
The diocese is looking for volunteers to help in this effort. There are many jobs to be done but they are divided into easily managed tasks that everybody can do. Currently the greatest need is for those who can help fund raise. Otherwise please consider volunteering to help with any of the following tasks:
-setting up a household
-picking up and delivering donations of household items and furniture
-setting up for events
-assisting with grant applications
-assisting new refugees get settled into Victoria

Many hands make work light. Thank you for considering assisting those in great need.
Training Details: You will meet with the Program Coordinator to give you an idea of what we are looking for. We will provide you with contact information of people to work with and guide you as needed.
Minimum Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Anytime
Time Detail: Most tasks may done on your schedule
Age: 18+
