Impact Statement: The Robert Bateman Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals and groups interpret and appreciate the natural world around them through the lens of art. Our volunteers are vital in helping us to educate the public about the natural world and sharing in our interest in introducing the public to the inspirational world of Robert Bateman. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our environment, and to share your love of learning with visitors.
Description: The Robert Bateman Gallery frequently rents out our space after-hours for events, functions, and other activities. Our Special Events Support position helps out Event Assistant with after-hours rentals – ensuring the safety of the gallery and artwork, setting up and taking down (chairs etc.), and some minor cleaning tasks.

This may be right for you if you:

- Enjoy being in an artistic environment
- Have an interest in event planning/running
- Would like to volunteer occasionally in the evenings
- Enjoy working with a variety of kinds of people
Training Details: All we ask is you to bring your enthusiasm for community, nature, and art; we will do the rest!
Working Conditions: Standing, bending, lifting under 20lbs, interacting with public
Minimum Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Evening
Age: 17+
