Position: Educational Programming Volunteer
Impact Statement: The Robert Bateman Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals and groups interpret and appreciate the natural world around them through the lens of art. Our volunteers are vital in helping us to educate the public about the natural world and sharing in our interest in introducing the public to the inspirational world of Robert Bateman. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our environment, and to share your love of learning with visitors.
Description: Programming offers two unique opportunities for you to get involved, depending on your experience and availability:

Assist: Programming Assist is designed specifically for volunteers with educational certifications (B. Ed or ECE), or those in the 3rd or 4th year of a B.Ed. program. Programming Assist helps the Program Manager and Learning Coordinator to deliver and prepare school and gallery educational programs.

Support: Programming support is for those who enjoy working with educational programs, but without any formal training. Support programmers assist our Programming team in delivering our Public Programming, geared towards fostering a love of Nature.
Training Details: B.Ed or ECE certificate preferred, but we will take care of the rest!
Working Conditions: Standing, walking, sitting, indoor and outdoor, working with children
Minimum Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Anytime
Age: 17+
