Impact Statement: The Robert Bateman Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals and groups interpret and appreciate the natural world around them through the lens of art. Our volunteers are vital in helping us to educate the public about the natural world and sharing in our interest in introducing the public to the inspirational world of Robert Bateman. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our environment, and to share your love of learning with visitors.
Description: Exhibit and Gallery care positions are for those of you who are good with your hands! Care volunteers assist the staff in maintaining and building/installing exhibit displays, and who are experienced in a variety of handy tasks, such as painting, woodworking, and construction.

This may be right for you if you:

- Are a skilled handyperson
- Are interested in the behind-the-scenes of how galleries work
- Have experience working in painting, construction, or kind of fabrication.
- Are interested in Robert Bateman’s work and philosophy.
Training Details: All we ask is you to bring your enthusiasm for community, nature, art, and your expertise; we will do the rest!
Minimum Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Anytime
Age: 17+
