Position: Gallery Maintenance
Impact Statement: The Robert Bateman Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals and groups interpret and appreciate the natural world around them through the lens of art. Our volunteers are vital in helping us to educate the public about the natural world and sharing in our interest in introducing the public to the inspirational world of Robert Bateman. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our environment, and to share your love of learning with visitors.
Description: A gallery maintenance volunteer would ideally be a handy person that assists staff in maintenance and in building/installing exhibits and displays.

• Volunteer requires experience in painting, construction, and possibly electrical work (certificate required)
Training Details: All we ask is you to bring your enthusiasm for community, nature, art, and your expertise; we will do the rest!
Working Conditions: Standing, lifting (possibly more than 20 lbs), moving artwork
Minimum Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Anytime
Age: 17+
