Position: Monopoly Game Bankers - The Monopoly Affair Tournament & Gala

Impact Statement: The Monopoly Affair is one of the Canadian Cancer Society’s signature fundraising events on Vancouver Island. This upscale 'non-traditional' Vaudeville themed fundraiser, is a hip black-tie, red carpet event being held at the Delta Ocean Pointe Resort & Spa the evening of Saturday February 23rd, 2019. In addition to playing Monopoly, the evening includes a stand-up dining experience, a cash bar, an auction, and of course, plenty of fun!

Funds raised through the Monopoly Affair make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer by helping to build community awareness for cancer prevention, cancer research, and the Canadian Cancer Society support programs and services. 
Description: Monopoly Game Bankers each run a Monopoly game table and oversee six game participants throughout the evening's tournament. Bankers must learn the official Hasbro game rules and regulations and are responsible for ensuring that game players adhere to the rules during the evening tournament.

There will be two mandatory training sessions in February prior to the event so that volunteers learn the official Hasbro tournament rules and regulations. The dates of these sessions are TBA.

Monopoly Game Bankers are asked to wear black bottoms and a white top as per the theme of the event.
