Whether it's tea and conversation, local walk, share a common interest, such as local West Shore history, knitting, crafts, build a puzzle, photography or identifying local birds. Description |
Visit a senior in the community you live. We are looking for local community members living in Colwood or Langford who would like to share time with a senior. Gain meaningful knowledge, experience and letter of reference outlining your Volunteer contributions. Learn a new craft. An interest or experience in helping seniors would be an asset. Better at Home West Shore provides non-medical supports. Position doesn't include driving participant. Health and safety check ins with program coordinator. Proof of vaccinations up to date. |

Working Conditions |
Friendly visits take place in various Langford and Colwood locations in person or by phone. 15 minutes to 1 hour 1-4x/month, same/consistent day/time.(Mon|Tues|Wed|Frid-between 10am-2pm)A set plan will be put in place after introduction visit with Coordinator. Reliable car to get you to your destination safely. |
