Position: Office Administration
Impact Statement: To improve health of Canadians by preventing and reducing disability and death from heart disease and stroke.
Description: Primary responsibilities:
Working with the Area Administrator:
• Answering the telephone on a multi-line switchboard in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Helping to provide a positive experience for visitors to the office. Escalate enquiries to employees partner(s) when required
• Take donations in person and on the phone.
• Become familiar with our databases and fundraising platforms to assist with online support.
• Preparation of materials for banking documentation
• Updating and maintenance of administration records
• Preparation of materials for onward transmission to our Data Processing Centre
• Conduct inventory, prepare mailings/kit preparation
• Carry out general clerical duties as needed (such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, producing letters, etc.)
• Assist with other office tasks that might arise
Training Details: Orientation to Heart and Stroke Foundation policies and procedures
Orientation to office our practices
Training on preparation of funds for banking
Training on OneCRM database
Minimum Duration: More than 1 year
Timing: Weekday - Daytime
Time Detail: Shift during our normal office hours: Monday – Friday Office, 9:00am – 4:00pm
* Volunteer shifts are assigned according to individual availability. You may choose to volunteer on a weekly, biweekly, monthly or “as needed” basis. *
