Want to build a friendship with an at-risk youth, be a positive role model, make an impact & have lots of fun?
KidStart is a mentorship program for kids ages 6-18 who have been impacted by the justice system. Volunteer mentors get to plan a variety of activities, and simply have fun with their assigned mentee once a week for ~3 hrs.
Mentors have a monthly stipend & have access to a range of discounts and free passes to amazing businesses in our community.
Get to know a youth through activities like rock climbing, hiking, painting, pottery, soccer, and more. Create a deep bond and trusting relationship through support and true friendship.
Due to high volume, kids, especially boys, can wait 1+ year for mentors. All applicants are welcome; we have a specific need for male-identifying volunteers.
