Description
The ReStore Product Specialist acts as an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity and provides product specific knowledge to customers in the ReStore. Volunteers in this position come with specific knowledge of the products we sell, whether it be antiques and collectables, tools, furniture, building supplies, housewares, or paint. Volunteers in this position are interested in bringing their product expertise to help drive sales in the ReStore.
Training Details
An orientation, safety tour and ongoing training is provided.
Working Conditions
Warehouse atmosphere with considerable temperature fluctuations throughout the year. We recommend you wear jeans or similar pants with the volunteer t-shirt provided. Steel-toed shoes or boots are unless you have your own. Work gloves or disposable gloves available. At this time due to the COVID-19, our team is required to maintain 6 feet of distance from each other and wear a mask at all times when working at the ReStore.
