Description |
Description: The Online Marketplace (OM) team helps fund these life-changing relationships for vulnerable children and youth. The members of this team take the donated goods we receive and post them to online streams, raising funds for our mentoring programs while also decreasing the amount of waste being brought to the landfill. Members of this team will pick items of value from our intake, post them to online marketplace streams, create unique descriptions, and complete appraisals. Primary tasks: Photograph items and write thorough descriptions based on their appraisal Research items online to find similar valued items for price appraisals Post items on various online marketplaces (primarily Facebook Marketplace) Secondary tasks: Assess the value of vintage, collectible, art, household, and other items using critical thinking, Google search, and other tools Assist OM staff with operational needs as necessary |

Strict Health & Safety measures in place, including: - PPE (provided if necessary) - Social distancing - Regular logged cleaning and sanitation - Other rules and measures as prescribed by WorkSafe BC - Limited accessibility conditions in the office space (stairs) |
