Position Creatures of Habitat Volunteer - Bayside students at Gowlland Tod Park - Creatures of Habitat 2020
Location Tod Inlet Trail, Brentwood Bay, BC, Canada

2020 marks the 12th year of our Gr. 6-7 environmental education program, Creatures of Habitat.

Twelve years ago, a group of citizens came together to brainstorm how to educate and inspire youth in danger of becoming disillusioned with all of the environmental challenges of our times. They reached out to PSS to help them develop an environmental education program to inspire action, leadership and stewardship.

This was just the beginning, and many other partners joined us that year. Now over 5500 students have participated in our program. That's over 5500 youth contributing their time and energy to stewarding the environment, through garbage clean-ups, invasive species removal, planting native species, and salmon fry releases. We take great pride in this shared accomplishment. Our volunteers are essential to helping us supervise and mentor these students.

Will you volunteer to help us this year?
Description Are you an enthusiastic and responsible adult who wants to work with and supervise youth (ages 11-12) on location at one of our events later this month?
