Position Virtual Volunteer Tutor - Adult Basic Computer Literacy Program

Description VLC has volunteer openings in our Adult Basic Computer Literacy program, 1-2 hours/week (online). Are you proficient with basic computer skills (PC or Mac), smart phones or tablets and want to help others? Do you have a computer capable of hosting Zoom sessions? Topics include basic computer use, online safety, video chatting, digital forms, social media, banking & shopping, subscriptions, smart phone & tablets, and more.
This program is open to all adult learners, with emphasis on helping isolated seniors reconnect with loved ones.
Training Details Orientation and training provided by VLC.
Working Conditions Remote. Need computer with camera capable of hosting Zoom sessions, and a strong, reliable internet connection.
Minimum Duration 7 - 12 months
Timing Anytime
Time Detail For 1:1 tutoring sessions the schedule will be set between the learner and tutor - generally 1-2 sessions/week ongoing.

Small Group classes run 2x/week for 4 weeks when scheduled to meet learner demand.
