Provide friendly and caring meal pick up at a Colwood location, and deliver directly to our older adults in Langford or Colwood. This service provides 3 meals a week, helping with nutritional support that may be lacking. |
| Description |
In this role, having your own reliable, insured vehicle is essential, consistency of availability is helpful. Meals are delivered 1 time per week on a Wednesday afternoon 2pm. Deliveries take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Mileage will be reimbursed monthly. Once assignment/schedule received, you would be responsible to carry out service in a timely manner and report to Program Coordinator once assignment complete. This lets us know you are safe. Great opportunity for those living on the Westshore as this service takes place in Langford and Colwood. |

CRC, Interview/Application, training in regards to position details, Communicating with the older adult, confidentiality, safety protocols. Transporting the meals "food safely". |
| Working Conditions | Position requires a Criminal record check, current driver's abstract, application, interview, references. Full BC Driver's license, safe, reliable fully insured vehicle, 3 million liability. |
