Impact Statement The Victoria Brain Injury Society's mission is to support, educate and advocate for adults with acquired brain injuries and their families; and to increase community awareness about acquired brain injury.
Description Administrative assistant volunteers at VBIS are responsible for the accurate entry of daily stats into the VBIS database and assisting with various office tasks.

Administrative Assistant volunteer responsibilities include:

- Entering walk-in and phone call daily stats into the database
- Entering program attendance stats into database
- Entering volunteer hours into database
- Assisting with Service ID card program
- Completion of various office-related tasks
- Assisting Front Desk Reception volunteer as needed

Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are valuable attributes for volunteers in this position.

*Please note VBIS requires a minimum 6 month commitment from volunteers.
Training Details Administrative Assistant Volunteers are provided with thorough training of the VBIS database and information on how to complete office tasks by the Volunteer Coordinator.
Minimum Duration 7 - 12 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime
Time Detail VBIS is open from 10am-3pm Monday-Thursday. Administrative Assistant volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of 2 hours/week.
