| Description |
The Education and Outreach Coordinator: - is a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player; - collaborates with other members of the executive team to generate ideas for education and outreach initiatives; - plans, coordinates and participates in education and outreach activities; - consults with the team's Volunteer Coordinator and Dog Care Support Coordinators to identify existing volunteers who might be interested in participating in education and outreach events; - confers with the Dog Care Support Coordinators to raise volunteer awareness about education and outreach activities and opportunities; - collaborates with the Communications Coordinator to publicly promote the Pawd’s presence at education and outreach events; - virtually attends Education and Outreach Coordinator meetings hosted by ElderDog Canada. |

| Working Conditions |
This position is done mostly from your home. It involves mainly telephone & email contact. But there may also be hands on set up, attendance and tear down of event booths at different events. The commitment: Varies by event. Ideally it is the time needed to develop and execute on 2-3 events per year or as determined by you and the executive team. |
