| Description |
We are looking for a peer female volunteer who is interested in building a committed friendship with an independent women in her early 60s. Through Lifetime Networks, we are building a small circle of supportive friends who are committed to hanging out with her once or twice a month. She is very cautious about COVID and can be counted on to follow public health protocols. Some of the activities she would enjoy doing with her network friends include: becoming more active by going for walks/hikes, going for coffee, rug hooking, going to the rec centre, learning to crochet, watching tv shows and movies, knitting and going to craft fairs. She is hoping to find a peer friend of around the same age and she prefers to meet up on Monday or Friday afternoons. She values her friends and is naturally kind and thoughtful to people - and would definitely brighten a new friend's day. |
