To provide a direct sales outlet in the neighbourhood for locally produced goods including: handcrafted items, art, produce and home prepared foods. To provide an atmosphere that encourages community interaction and participation of the neighbourhood. |
| Description |
The James Bay Community Market operates, rain or shine, every Saturday 9am to 3pm from May 6 to October 7 at the corner of Menzies and Superior in James Bay. We are looking for a volunteer "Tear-Down Assistant" who will assist our Manager and take down person with the take down and storage of the market equipment including packing up the market tents, gathering of signage etc. on the property. You will also offer assistance to our vendors who may need assistance with their tents etc. No unpacking or packing of vendor products is required. Come meet our interesting farmers, food producers, crafters and customers while having fun and supporting us in making the Market successful. Thanks! |
